Views on Proposed Expenditure Plans
Following the request in the previous newsletter for ideas on what the parish
council should put forward to Ward Councillors for the spending of funding
derived from new developments in Branton the following suggestions have been put forward:
- Planting of trees and improvements to the appearance of the village
- Play equipment on the open space at Poppyfields
- A range of outdoor equipment for all ages at Kilham Lane recreation
ground.
Your views would be greatly appreciated and if you could return the enclosed pro-forma either to the Costcutter store or forward to the Clerk at [email protected].
If it is case that residents wish to see the area improved with play equipment then further consultation would follow to identify the type of equipment residents prefer.

Dog Fouling on Pavements in Branton
The parish council continues to receive complaints from residents regarding dog fouling on pavements around the village most recently on St Vincent’s Avenue. All dog owners are urges to clean up if their dog fouls the pavements and footpaths and deposit the waste in the appropriate litter bins sited around the village. A request has been made for DMBC’s Enforcement Team to visit the area.
